VAAPI is disabled with ffmpeg5 on vlc-3x

ffmpeg have removed libavcodec/vaapi.h according to 1ee376ac

This patch cannot be picked in vlc-3x but it's possible to adapt something for vlc-3.x and ffmpeg5+

As we said, we won’t support full FFmpeg5 in 3.0.

So I don’t think we will fix.

VAAPI is gone due to changes introduced in Ffmpeg 3.3

3.0.21 has contribs with Ffmpeg 4.4...

Would you consider the following alternatives:

• Branch vlc-3.1x with ffmpeg/libva support bumped to accommodate with modern API.
• Keep a dedicated ffmpeg5vaapi branch on top of (regularly rebased on) vlc-3.0x with patches that distro maintainers could conditionally apply, assuming ffmpeg5 and modern libva ?

I really doubt it.

@kwizart noboby will prevent you from setting up a branch for Linux distributions to cooperate, on this Gitlab or elsewhere.

But code doesn't get written by incantation. If nobody writes the code, it's rather vain to discuss hypothesises of how official and officially supported the hypothetical branch would be.
