VLC 3.0.18 Debian 12 AMD blurry video with HW acceleration.

As far as I am aware, currently there is no way of getting HW accelerated playback with the most recent VLC version using AMD cards. As per #26772 (closed) VA-API is no longer available, and VDPAU playback seems to be buggy on AMD cards. The blurriness is most visible on thext, but it's there for all videos. This is how it looks on my rx470:
