HAL service discovery sees data DVDs as Video DVDs and adds them to the playl ist

Unfortunatly I don't have any data DVDs to test with. If someone can provide the full output of lshal with a data dvd in the drive, I could see if it could be fixed.

The distinction is very hard to make : HAL does not detect it, you need to mount the DVD and check for video_ts.

Not for 0.8.2

Maybe hal 0.5 will fix this. Too late for 0.8.4 too anyway. -- Move to FP
