tracking devices should be easy provided that Qt of glib can be used. Otherwise it is a bit hard requiring us to write file handle watcher functions, a timer system etc in a fashion that dbus likes.

the only useful informations are the fact that one or more dvb receiver are present, and their adaptor number (0, 1 ...)

don't know how that can be exploited in the playlist, maybe adding dvb:// --dvb-adaptor 0 will show all available channels, maybe not...
