.host file seems to be ignored - can't access http interface from LAN
I'm using VLC 2.0.5 on Windows 7 (64)
Since 2.1 (I think, I'm not sure), VLC http interface stopped being accessible from LAN, but is accessible from localhost. I tried to reinstall removing cache and deleting preferences but same thing.
Details :
- my subnet is 192.168.1.0
- I'm talking about C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\lua\http.hosts
- I tried installing VLC in Program Files (like now) or in default location (Program Files (x86)), no changes.
- in the .host I tried (all the times, I checked wether http interface was responding from localhost) : 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.1.10 (wich is the adress of the computer hosting VLC) 0.0.0.0/24 0.0.0.0
All the times, the http interface were accessible via localhot:8080, but not via 192.168.1.10:8080
I've seen #8058 (closed) but I'm not in the same case. I searched on all tickets on all status for HTTP server component without finding anything about it. I've searched on the forum with no results. I've surely missed something !
I've seen nothing in logs, but I didn't get any txt file logs, don't know why (I enabled logging on preferences from GUI, restarted VLC, but the file is not created). The only log I had is the console log.
