Playlist cannot be streamed with :sout (including streaming wizard)
With multiple machines on the same LAN (behind a router), streaming a playlist via UDP from one instance of VLC to another running on a different computer does not work when using either the Streaming/Transcoding Wizard or the Advanced Open File... window. Sound plays locally only and nothing shows up on the target machine. This occurs both from OS X (10.5.7) to Ubuntu (9.04) and the other way, and seems to affect all versions from 0.9.0 up to and including 1.0.3-rc. However using VLC from the command line works OK in both cases for every version I've managed to test.
Strangely, taking the exact same actions from the GUI using 0.8.6i as the streamer works perfectly (regardless of the version running as the recipient).
Found no Trac tickets that exactly describe what I'm seeing -- the closest ones are #2576 (closed), #2499 (closed), #402 (closed), and #2391 (closed), but all of those except the last one closed and none seems to be a perfect match. Also, I am guessing about the appropriate component; unsure if it should be "Playlist" or "Stream output."
I did find a forum posting where someone else had the exact same problem, so I've posted a detailed description and logs at http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=65863&start=0.
