macOS: Jump buttons do not work when *not* in full screen
I had commented a couple months ago on issue #23663, thinking it may be the same issue, but since the suggested cause there was not being able to determine the file length while streaming - and I'm just watching a file, I thought I would create a new issue.
Conditions:
- macOS 10.15.7
- VLC 3.0.16
- I edited all the jump lengths to be longer. In order: 15, 30, 60, & 300
- I'm watching .ts files created by VLC when recording from an HDHomeRun
Here's what happens.
- In full screen, the jump forward/backward buttons work as expected.
- When not in full screen, the image and audio stutter for a fraction of a second, but the video continues without having jumped.
I've been dealing with this for a long time. I'm not sure how long, but at least a year. I hadn't figured out until a couple months ago that it was only when not in full screen that the issue occurs, but I can reproduce it on demand.
