win mozilla plugin 0.9.2 - seems not being using http(s) proxy preferences
The http proxy behaviour of the 0.9.2 mozilla plugin is changed from O.8.6x
I am accessing video files over the Internet via HTTP. I am behind a proxy.
To be able to access a video with 0.8.6x mozilla plugin, it was enough to:
1 - open VLC standalone
2 - go in preferences > input/codecs > access modules > HTTP(S) > set "proxyname:proxyport" in the proxy http settings
After this setting I am able to reproduce the video via HTTP using VLC 0.8.6x standalone and VLC 0.8.6x mozilla plugin.
This setting seems not being working anymore with 0.9.2 plugin. After setting the http(s) proxy VLC 0.9.2 standalone is able to reproduce files via HTTP. The plugin VLC 0.9.2 is not.
Please note that this defect is different from ticket 2062.

About ticket 2062:
I tried the solutions proposed to ticket 2062: in particular adding VLC 0.9.2 directory to the path. This solution works fine if I am not behind a proxy.
If I am behind a proxy, using 0.9.2 mozilla plugin I get:
VLC: main input : creating access 'http' path='FULLY QUALIFIED URL'
VLC: main access : looking for access module: 2 candidates
VLC: access_http access : http: server='WWW.MYSERVER.COM' port=80 file='/MYFILE
VLC: main access : net: connecting to WWW.MYSERVER.COM port 80
VLC: main access : connection: Resource temporarily unavailable
default updateStatusFromExternalData
default updateStatusFromExternalData
default updateStatusFromExternalData
default updateStatusFromExternalData
default updateStatusFromExternalData
VLC: main access : connection timed out
VLC: access_http access : cannot connect to WWW.MYSERVER.COM:80
That is, the http access module is spawned properly (the bug reported in ticket 2062 is overcome) but the plugin is still not able to access MYFILE.
