Register a vlc:// URL sheme in IOS

Playing files other than those supported OOTB by apple has always been a complicated thing on Ios. Vlc could change this. As google chrome created a new URL sheme to be sure that one could open links in Google chrome instead of Safari, I'd like some http videos links not supported by Apple video player to be opened in VLC.

So instead of proposing a link to http://vjs.zencdn.net/v/oceans.webm and crossing fingers that the user could open it , I would just put a

vlc://vjs.zencdn.net/v/oceans.webm and ask the user to install VLC.
