Unable to display Simplified Chinese subtitles

After I upgrade to 2.0.6 I found Simplified Chinese are no longer able to be displayed. I did everything I can like use a chinese font, change code, make the srt file into UTF-8 and so on. None of them works. the Chinese subtitle always displayed as "squares"
