Regression: Transcoding DTS to AC3 - bad output
The output sounds really bad, with a lot of noise and choppy sound.
Command used:
vlc.exe -I dummy e:\test.dst --no-sout-video --audio-track=0 --sout=#transcode{acodec=a52,ab=448}:standard{access=file,mux=raw,dst=e:\test.ac3} vlc://quit
The input DTS file is attached. The output AC3 file is attached.
Vlc 2.0.6 32bit on Windows 7 64bit.
This problem appears in the latest nightly build too: vlc-2.1.0-pre1-20130506-0402-win64.7z
It does not appear in 2.0.5.
