VLC wont suspend mate screensaver

Hi everybody.. VLC won't suspend mate screensaver while watching video. You can simulate user activity by same way as with gnome screensaver ("gnome-screensaver-command --poke" for gnome, "mate-screensaver-command --poke" for mate) so it might be enough to add this command to inhibit module (but I'm not sure, my programming skill is low).

"ln -s /usr/bin/gnome-screensaver-command /usr/bin/mate-screensaver-command" is not working

Workaround is to use "Inhibit applet".
