Broken playback of DTV stream in VLC 2.0.2
I am living in Hong Kong, where the DMB-TH system is adopted, and I have been using VLC to receive the stream (choosing DVB-T for the "delivery system") and it works fine until version 2.0.2. It can still tune the card and start the playback but both the video and the audio is broken. The playback is kind of "stuttering". (Sorry if that's not a good choice of word) I have saved two samples of the debug message while playing the streams from two different frequencies. Both of them keeps on showing warnings of "discontinuity" (I guess that's what I mean by saying that the playback keeps on "stuttering"), and one of them even shows the error "pictures leaked". Everything works fine once I switch back to version 2.0.1 and none of those warnings and errors are shown. And I recorded the stream "natively" in 2.0.1 and 2.0.2 plays it fine. I am using VLC 32bit in Windows 7 64bit, with Intel Core i7 860, ATI Radeon 5850 (Catalyst 12.6, the latest stable version), ASUS Xonar Essence STX.

Actually there has long been a small problem in the playback of certain "programs" of a certain frequency. It's also some kind of stuttering but much less serious. "main warning: picture is too late to be displayed (missing xx ms)" is kept being shown when those programs are opened. And I just found that it's also in the logs I attached for the problem in 2.0.2. It's the only frequency which is shared by two different TV stations (companies) and only programs from a particular station have that issue, while all programs provided by that station through another frequency (which is not shared) have no issue at all. And the shared frequency is also the only one adopt MPEG-2 for video, but I guess it's nothing to do with the codec because when I record the stream (also natively) and play it later, the issue is gone.
I decided not to create a new ticket just because I think it could be quite "location-oriented", and I just hope that maybe luckily you can fix it at the same time.
