Scene filter counter abruptly resets and overwrites previous captures
I've been using scene filter to capture stills from a DVD source, with a command line similar to:
vlc.exe "dvd:///Y:[#1](https://code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc/-/issues/1)" --start-time=200 --stop-time=350
--video-filter=scene --scene-ratio=1 --scene-path=.
--scene-height=540 --scene-width=720 --rate=1.0
--scene-prefix=i- --vout=dummy --no-audio vlc://quit
Partway through the capture (after about 30 s), VLC abruptly starts the counter over at 1 and overwrites the first set of stills. The attached screenshot from Process Monitor shows when this happens.
This issue might be related to #6076, specifically the problem regarding fewer image files than expected. The output files also contain many zero-byte PNG files, which is also mentioned in #6076.
This is happening on a Core i5 system with a Radeon HD 4800 GPU, running Windows 7 64-bit.
