VLC Playback of multi-channel FLAC and WAV files.
When playing back multichannel 5.1 files in either WAV or FLAC format, VLC's output format defaults to "stereo" instead of "5.1". This could be a bug in the player's detection of multichannel audio which is not encoded in a surround format. The format can be changed to "5.1" manually, but upon the arrival of the next track, the output defaults back to "stereo" again.
