Equalizer default preset is reducing volume on first use

Problem exists since a long time (and in the current vlc). I'm testing in vlc-2.0.0-rc1-20120129-0209-win32.exe

Reproduceble:

• On Windows; (didn't try on Linux or Mac)
• install VLC; (seems to happen only in fresh configs: new installations or refreshed configs)
• play some music or video;
• Start the equalizer, enable it in default preset (just tick and don't touch in preset combo box)

The expected behaviour is the volume goes down. This happen even with the master volume remaining in the middle of the course. BUT, if you touch the preset choosing defaul, the master volume will go up to 3/4 and the volume will become normal (just like before you enable the equalizer).

This problem only occurs if the equalizer is started from the GUI, not via another mean. Somehow the preamplification gets cloberred to 0dB instead of correct +12dB when the equalizer is checkbox is ticked.

Selecting "flat" again corrects the bug.
