A few comments to the RTP vs. UDP topic:

I believe RTP reordering introduced in 0.8.4 has been since then proved to work fine - so I'd propose to use RTP as the default protocol for 0.8.5 and UDP only in special cases when ultimately needed - I'm still seeing a lot of people using raw UDP and suffering from its problems although they don't have any critical reason for it.

If people still think we ultimately need UDP in the wizard, I'd propose to include both options - but I think it wouldn't be good to have 4 items here (RTP Unicast, RTP Multicast, UDP Unicast, UDP Multicast). Having just RTP and UDP should be sufficient - and perhaps the help text could motivate the user to enter either unicast or multicast address. With UDP, it should also warn the user about its limited usability in larger IP networks.
