VLC should treat HTTP and HTTPS YouTube URLs equally
VLC 1.1.7 YouTube support is pretty much unreliable, but it's totally broken on entering HTTPS YouTube video pages.
YouTube allows users to browse video pages in HTTPS, but the video streaming is always unencrypted. Whether the entered page URL is HTTP or HTTPS, it shouldn't affect how VLC fetch the video, but VLC doesn't currently know how to handle HTTPS YouTube video page URLs.
Here is how to reproduce the bug:
- Choose Media -> Open Network Stream.
- Enter an HTTPS YouTube video page URL.
- VLC won't recognize that it's from YouTube.
