Fullscreen is not working in VLC Firefox plugin

The VLC Plugin 1.1.0 is failing to launch in fullscreen when either the javascript command vlc.video.fullscreen=true or vlc.video.toggleFullscreen(); is executed.

It seems to be a duplicate with the bug #3865 (closed), but the bug also affects the Linux Platform with the 1.1.2 version of the plugin.
