macOS: volume slider and volume mute button is not working on 4.0.0-dev Otto Chriek (Apple Silicon).

volume is not increasing or decreasing when the slider is moved. Also the mute button is not working.

mute button is not working although mute icon get displayed In separate window , slider is working but mute button is not.

From the reported bugs, i could reproduce only one. I could not reproduce the volume bug, the volume slider is working well on MacBook Pro with M1 Pro and MacOS 14.2.1. The VLC API (v4.0.0) function vlc_player_aout_Mute is switching and returning the correct return value... just... that the audio is not muted as expected irrespective of the set audio output (tried with bluetooth headset, internal speakers, USB Audio)
