Skipping time backwards too far jumps to the end of the song in VLC 4.0
I assume this is a bug, but it might be a feature. And if it is a feature, I would really love to turn this off, since it makes jumping to the start of a song difficult for me, and it makes me nervous to go back too far in a song since I tend to tap a lot. Maybe an option to enable or disable this behavior would be nice.
Expected behavior: In VLC 3.0, I will tap the left arrow key multiple times to jump to the beginning of the song. The song jumps to 0:00 and stays there even if I tap it a bunch of times. Unfortunately, 3.0 has the lowered pitch bug with going back in time. 4.0 has fixed this bug, but...
VLC 4.0 behavior: I tap the left arrow key as usual to jump to the beginning of the song, but when it should be staying at 0:00, it loops around to the end of the song, say 4:50. I assume this is not supposed to happen, because this loop does not happen both ways - I can't loop to the beginning of the song by mashing the right arrow key to try and go back.
Replicate: Tap the time bar while the song is running, hold the left arrow key, and watch the song repeatedly loop back around itself. This also happens when using the 'skip backwards' time option in the playback menu.
Thank you to whoever takes a look at this, I didn't see anyone else mention this as far as I can tell. I know there's a lot of more pressing things to fix, but I'm tossing this here so it might get considered. Been using the left arrow key to jump to the start for nearly a decade (I listen to the same songs from the beginning constantly,) really hurts to not be able to do so in 4.0. Using the latest nightly build as of 2/28/2023.
