VLC audio dropouts (flac)

Sometimes there are dropouts, stutter, etc. in audio when playing videos or just music. In this case, it's about flac files which are played very well in Browser (e.g. Firefox). But on VLC the audio is silent for a few milliseconds. It's exactly the same song position. I can reproduce it 100% on VLC. I cannot upload the song due to license issues. But I could compose an own flac if requested. But not sure if I can reproduce this.
