Video freezing
A particular video has trouble playing in VLC. It consistently exhibits a freezing frame at about 8:35, soon after a gag of Brain tripping over his golf club.
Interestingly, the same freezing frame occurs when the video plays in Plex. Though in VLC, the playback timer continues to advance.
Obviously, something in the video content is triggering a freezing frame. The video file is arguably corrupted. Skipping past the point of the frozen frame, some playable video remains, though no audio.
Regardless, in the event of a corrupt video stream, I would like to see much better error handling in the player. VLC should inform the user that the video file has corruption, so that the user can act on that information and pursue a higher quality stream. Right now, any user experiencing a problematic video, may mistakenly think there is a bug in VLC. When there is merely a UX issue.
I am uploading the fixture purely for testing purposes:

If a significant number of users download the file, then Dropbox may automatically shutoff the share flag. Recommend to persist the file in Archive.org, BitTorrent, etc.
Cross-link to Plex, in case a codec update can help to alleviate the issue:
