Colorless playback of compressed video on windows.
If you put a mp4 file in a folder and right click the mp4 file and then click properties and click advanced and click compress content to save space, after that click ok and then click apply. In the windows 10/11 default environment. Then use VLC to play the video you will find out the video has been discolored, while it seems to be a windows’s compressed problem, if you open the mp4 file with the default windows media player, it is colored. The problem is, the windows archive compressed videos have a weird codec color flag causing vlc to not knowledge which color therefor using black and white to play the file. Even if the file is uncompressed and reversed the above steps later on, vlc is still unable to playback the video in a colorful way.
