Time left counter in Full Screen mode is not remembered
VLC has two GUI elements that show "time left", one in Window mode ("W") and one in Full Screen mode ("F").
By a mouse click, both W and F can be toggled between two states: "Show length of movie" and "Show remaining time".
Notice now the two following things:
- On startup, W remembers its previous state when last running VLC, while F always starts in the "Show length of movie" state.
- This state is individual (eg. W and F each have their own state, it is not shared!)
Because of the way it works now, I always have to click F to see how much time is left of a movie, which I end up doing very often.
Is this intentional by design? If so, what is the logic behind this?
I would prefer that:
- The F state is remembered (most important)
- The state is shared (eg. clicking F will change the state for W, and vice versa).
