RTSP - MP3 - Streaming Bug
I tested the last nightly Build of VLC 3.0 (vlc-3.0.0-20171018-0257) for Windows 32bit. I used the VLC 3.0 to receiving a RTSP-Stream from an embedded device. On the embedded hardware I streamed an MP3-File with the testProg (testOnDemandRTSPServer) from the live555-Library. The VLC 3.0 client can't play the MP3 file correctly, I heard only slices of the sound so it is not playing fluently.
''' DEBUG-Console (VLC): core warning: timing screwed (drift: -96189 us): stopping resampling core warning: playback way too early (-144002): playing silence core debug: inserting 27648 zeroes core warning: playback too early (-47648): down-sampling core warning: timing screwed (drift: -95737 us): stopping resampling core warning: playback way too early (-143868): playing silence core debug: inserting 27622 zeroes'''
The same result with other random MP3-Files. But I tried VLC 2.2.4, 2.2.6 and FFMPEG (3.3.3) and there is no Problem with the MP3-Stream. But the problem is only with MP3, same soundfile converted to WAV or Vorbis is playing correctly.
