D3D video filters: Amost all effects cause crashes with hardware decoding + deinterlacing

VLC crashes when I try to enable (almost) any video effect with hardware decoding + deinterlacing (DXVA or D3D11VA).

Steps to reproduce:

• Enable hardware decoding (DXVA or D3D11VA)
• Start video playback
• Check a video effect (View > Effects > Video Effects)

=> Runtime error!

This is quite important.

Do you have logs, by any chance?

This is a known shortcoming of the current design. You cannot use hardware deinterlacing and hardware filters at the same time. In that case the device context is not shared properly. The same issue exist on other platforms.

here, we're talking of hw deinterlacing and software filters, no?
