Support SMB2 and SMB3 when browsing shares
Currently the android port does not allow you to browse an SMB share which only supports the SMBv2 or SMBv3 protocol.

File your bug here: https://github.com/videolabs/libdsm I'm afraid.
Nothing for VLC to do, AFAICT.

Well, I guess it is a real problem. I have an Android TV and using VLC nightly on it; I opened video files from a Windows network share, because streaming is unreliable and not 4K quality. In a newer (developer) versions of Windows 10, SMB1 is disabled, furthermore SMB1 server must be forcefuly installed as a component. I think it will be a general problem for users, and pointing to a 3rd party will not solve it: this obsolete library must be replaced.
