Reverting 7eb2492c fixes it.
added Component::Subtitles Platform::GNU/Linux Severity::normal Type::bug Version::master git labels
changed milestone to %3.0 FF
That seems like a libtool limitation/issue to me, and I cannot seem to enforce C mode using --tag=CC.

I'm not sure what's the way of fixing this
This has been discussed many times already. Don't put C++/ObjC/whatever source files in otherwise C plugins, especially not conditionally. That's the only way unless you extend autotools.
