Unstricter .srt parsing
The VLC media player is a bit too strict about the .srt-Format. I suggest to make it a bit more "unstricter". I've noticed this when playing DEF CON 24-videos, which ships subtitles.
In the video A Monitor Darkly, the lines for the time starts with:
00:00:00.000-->00:00:05.005
As you can see, there aren't spaces around the -->. However, is it really necessary? I don't think so, you still get the time, so VLC can be a bit tolerant here. MPlayer already seems to do this (althrough with a small "hicup" at the beginning, but then it looks like syncronized)
Another video, TASBot Exploits Consoles (...), the subtitle starts with:
00:00:00.467,00:00:01.802
While this format seems to be unknown to me (and Compn and ePirat from IRC), it might be valid as well. MPlayer somehow also plays these subtitles, but they are async to the video/audio... (But doesn't matter, this is VLC)
