Seeking through a paused HLS stream crashes the player

When seeking to a different position in a VOD type HLS playlist, VLC becomes completely unresponsive and needs to be force quit.

Steps to reproduce:

• Open a VOD type HLS stream. For example, http://qthttp.apple.com.edgesuite.net/1010qwoeiuryfg/sl.m3u8
• Click pause
• Click on the player timeline to change position in the stream
• Click play

The player then becomes unresponsive to any further user input. This occurs every time.

This is with VLC 2.2.4 on OS X 10.10.5

Nobody is maintaining the HLS input in VLC 2.2.x.

Anybody - feel free to take bug ownership and reopen.
