Opening VLC from data file populates Media Information window with wrong Info
To Reproduce the problem on macOS Sierra:
- Have two video files (A and B) with different resolutions (to easily tell them apart).
- Open video file A within VLC.
- Use Finder and locate file B.
- Right click on file B, and open with VLC to play it (and pause it).
Bug
Media Information window does not contain info from file B even though it is currently playing it. This is easily checked by having the two files with different resolutions so you can check validity of Media Information window info.
This bug does not occur if you open the file within VLC using the "Recent files...", so the error happens with when Media Information window populates with updated data if you launch VLC from right clicking and selecting "open" with VLC.
This is a major bug because you may be processing and editing multiple videos via right clicking and opening videos with VLC and you get wrong info on the resolutions and codecs.
