VLC sort files randomly
I am on a Windows 7 SP1 64 bits Professional.
In VLC 2.2.4
, when selecting several mp3 from a folder (these mp3 are named with a preceding number: 01. ...mp3, 02. ...mp3, etc), pressing second button of the mouse over it and selecting "Play with VLC media player", the order of the tracklist in VLC is random, for example:
=04 La Marea.mp3 = |
---|
=03 Loco Alquimista.mp3 = |
=01 Dama Del Rio.mp3 = |
=02 Manzanas.mp3 = |
If you press second button of the mouse over the playlist in VLC and you try all the options from "Sort by" (Title Ascending, Artist Ascending, etc), any of these options will sort the list as VLC does. So,
- what the sorting algorithm does?
- How does it sort the files?
I think it will be better to sort the selected files by default by "Title Ascending" instead of be sorted completely RANDOM.
