ActiveX Plugin Class Missing since 2.2.0 (working until 2.1.5)

Hello,

recently I have updated my VLC from 2.1.5 to 2.2.1, resulting in some software (developed with VB.net) is no longer Working. Trying to figure out what the problem was, I checked several VLC Versions, 2.1.5, 2.2.0 and 2.2.1. In the very first case everything works fine and wenn I attempt to start a new, empty project I can drag and drop the VLC activeX Plugin to the form and everythings okay. But starting with 2.2.0 this is no longer possible, an error occurs likewise to #9748 (closed). Also, the axvlc.dll only seems to contain the namespace axvlc{} but no longer AxAXVLC{}, which then contains the class for the plugin. Is this wanted or a bug?
