Buggy vlc-config output if --disable-libtool
If vlc is configured without libtool (which is advised on MacOS X and win32), then it will not split the libraries into libvlc.(so|dll) and libvlc-control.(so|dll) but only produce a libvlc.(so|dll) (implemented in r17640 ). However, "vlc-config --libs external" returns hard-coded linkage options "-lvlc -lvlc-control".
This breaks the compiling of language bindings (e.g. the python bindings).
Either vlc-config should be fixed, or the libvlc/libvlc-control split should be effective also with --disable-libtool.
