Corrupt video output
On a VIA EPIA SP13000 mainboard with via chipset the video output is corrupt. The video has a large green bar at the bottom, in the video there are diagonal bars in red, green and blue (see attachement).
I used: ubuntu 7.04 with the distro release of VLC ''VLC media player 0.8.6 Janus VLC version 0.8.6 Janus Compiled by buildd@rothera.buildd Compiler: gcc version 4.1.2 (Ubuntu 4.1.2-0ubuntu4)''
The video driver is from via. When using the standard vesa driver the video is not corrupted anymore but is to slow with a lot of dropped frames.
When using the options: --vout-filter=deinterlace --deinterlace-mode=blend then the image is also not corrupted anymore. Only then the cpu goes to 80%. Even when the video is already deinterlaced
