VLC 2.1.x: Video Width + Height + Autoscale not working together

Hi there,

i am currently testing Xubuntu 14.04 AMD64 with VLC v2.1.2 in its repository.

Normally my vlcrc uses this parameters (with VLC v2.0.8 on Xubuntu 13.10 AMD64):

width=1024 height=768 video-x=0 video-y=16 autoscale=1

This will lead to a seperate video window with a size of 1024x768 in the upper left corner and a automatic scaled video.

Now with v2.1.2 i can either use:

width+height which will lead to a correct window size but a small video in its original size

OR

width+height+autoscale=1 which will lead to a incorrect window size but a correct video scale

Just tested the same setup on Windows 8.1 Pro x64 with VLC 2.1.3 for Windows.

If i disable autoscale, the window size is correct but the video is in its original size.

If i enable autoscale, the window size is adapted to the video size.
