OSS: mixer volume reset each time new playlist item encountered

Steps to reproduce

Configure VLC to use OSS audio output device
Restart VLC
En-queue several audio files
Begin playback
Modify volume to e.g. 10%
Wait for playback of item to finish OR fast-forward to next item

RESULT Volume resets to arbitrary value (in my case, 45%) at beginning of playback Behavior observed regardless of "Remember the audio volume" option in preferences. ReplayGain disabled. Behavior NOT observed when using PulseAudio output device

Tested in PC-BSD 9.2 with VLC 2.1.2 from packages repository
