Memory Leak when using transform filter
The textures I get through this VLC plugin are always upside down.
I tried using the following options to flip the sources:
libVLC = new LibVLC("--no-osd", "--video-filter=transform", "--transform-type=vflip");
The textures are correctly flipped but my 8GB VRAM gets filled in a few seconds (and so gets my RAM).
Am I doing something wrong?
Minimal setup to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- Add a RawImage to the scene
- Add the attached script to the RawImage (VLC.cs)
Notes:
Unity 2020 & 2021, in playing mode, targeting windows x86_64.
I had a flickering issue I solved by avoiding calling UpdateExternalTexture
as it is done in the sample (on each frame ?!).
I want to flip the textures so I can use them with the new UI Toolkit which baddly supports uv mapping and transforms.
I have the paid version.
