3.6.3 Android Nightlies Grant Permission Dialog ⟨ persistent permission not granted⟩

Expected behavior: we expect when presented with the initial Grant permission dialogue that after successfully granting permission to the nightly VLC Android app, we should have access to all of our files

Actual behavior: instead, after accepting the dialogue, no change occurs and we lose access to any effect of tapping on the UI interface elements to bring us back to all files access

Steps to reproduce

1. VLC-Android-3.6.0-armv8-20250109-0115.apk to current nightly VLC-Android-3.6.3-armv8-20250210-0116.apk
2. Allow notifications and Grant ant subsequent permissions
3. Media UI does not populate with media from device
