Show control interface on secondary display.
Or should I change the issue discription to "Desktop mode on secondary display not well supported"?
- Failed situation:
The user connects the phone with TV using HDMI cable and laid down the phone under the TV. Then the user is sitting on a sofa using a Bluetooth keyboard with touchpad to remotely control the phone's secondary screen via the "desktop mode". VLC opens and plays, however, the user has no playback control ability with his keyboard/mouse since the control interface is not shown on the secondary display.
- Description of what happened:
If the desktop mode in android 10/11 is enabled in developer options, user can launch the VLC main window directly in the secondary display. However, when playing videos, the control interface is still shown on the phone display with the video casted to the secondary display.
- Expected behavior:
When under "desktop mode", user is expecting everything to be shown on the secondary display. Since under the "desktop mode", user will be using mouse/keyboard/touchpad/controller/whatsoever to interact with the secondary display, a control interface showing on the secondary display should be enabled.
