INSTALL.md instructions out of date

The INSTALL.md, INSTALL.macosx.md, and INSTALL.win32.md files are out of date and contain old instructions that do not work. They are for the old cmake system that you have since removed in commit fe2f0d60, and have switched to the automake system. These files should be updated with new instructions on using the automake system, as cmake is no longer used.
