On screen volume indicator's scale has been broken

VLC 2.1.1 @ macos 10.8.5

In previous version I saw fullscreen volume indicator by rotating mouse wheel: it grew up from bottom to top, mapped from 0% to 200% volume, and 100% was at half of screen height.

In new version: volume grows from 0% (bottom of screen) to 100% (top of screen) and then volume increases up to 200% with fully filled indicator, and I can hear such increase only by my ears and numeric percent level, but not vertical indicator (which is already filled up).
