Regression in FLAC playback
Most of my FLAC music (that has always been playable in VLC up to now) has reproducible 'crackling' (inserted silence) since updating to Rincewind 2.1.1. Apparently the decoder considers the file corrupt:
flac warning: an error in the stream caused the decoder to lose synchronization. flac warning: an error in the stream caused the decoder to lose synchronization. main debug: Decoder buffering done in 30 ms main debug: inserting 220 zeroes main warning: playback too early (-73345): down-sampling flac error: The decoder encountered reserved fields in use in the stream. main warning: playback way too early (-151224): playing silence main debug: inserting 6668 zeroes flac error: frame's data did not match the CRC in the footer.
However I am confident that not all of my 1.4GiB of FLAC music, each track of which suffers from this artifact from a few times to constantly, is corrupt.
