VLC 2.1.0 crashes on opening any Opus file (OS X 10.6.8)

Just as the summary says. When I open any .opus file with VLC 2.1.0, the interface freezes for a few seconds, and then VLC quits, without having played any sound.

This is a regression--Opus files worked fine in at least VLC 2.0.8, and I think a few versions prior to that as well. (I forget when exactly Opus codec support was introduced.) I don't know what happens on operating systems other than Mac OS X 10.6.8.

I'll attach a simple .opus file, which plays fine in VLC 2.0.8 and crashes VLC 2.1.0.
