auhal: SPDIF cable hot unplug does not work on 10.6

The plugin tries to continue spdif playback. The streams changed callback seems to be registered without error, but the callback is simply not called. Therefore, SPDIF loss is not detected, and also the audio devices list is not updating correctly.

Might be related to #9141 (closed)!?
