Video does not play

Self made movie that does not play in VLC (2.0.1 and 2.0.7-portable): The first few frames are fine, but then the image is frozen.

It plays ok in Windows Media Player and Quicktime media player, so I assume the movie itself is ok (although I have not way of checking this). I have experienced this quite a lot with movies I made the same way (with a commercial 3D-image software called Imaris, from Bitplane.ch) and since I don't like to use Windows Media Player, I thought you might want to fix this if you have a sample.

My System: Win 7, 64 bit, Core i7, 950 @3 GHz, 12 GB RAM.
