UPNP crashes when accessing server

When accessing my MythTV UPNP server VLC crashes. I can access this same server just fine in Windows Media Player. This issue occurs in the latest stable version (2.0.6) and latest nightly (2.1.0-pre1-20130520-0035) 32+64bit. I am using Windows 7 64bit. Version 2.0.0 does not have this issue and seems to work as expected.
