Corrupted audio playback for wmv formatted files

Bug: VLC plays wmv formatted videos but the audio tracks are corrupt, sounding like white noise. Other players such as mplayer gives the expected audio track without the distortion.

Official Arch Linux package is affected by this: VLC media player 2.0.5 Twoflower (revision 2.0.5-0-g1661b7d)

I can confirm that vlc from git (20130302) does not fix this issue.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
