DVB-T record / play problem

According to the news report,

2012.07 when Taiwan TV shift from analog to digital, many set-top-box can't decoding TTVHD, the reason is that the CHIP vendor fails to full decoding H.264 standard, after upgrade firmware,this problem had solved.

It seem VLC has the same problem.

There are 15 SD and 5 HD DVB-t channels in Taiwan, only TTVHD use different format that VLC can not record / play normally.
